Misr El Kheir organizes a ceremony to hand over prosthetic devices to people of determination in South Sinai

The ceremony was attended by: Dr. Enas Samir, Deputy Governor of South Sinai, Major General Ayman El Sherif, Secretary-General of South Sinai Governorate, Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of the Misr El Kheir Foundation, Dr. Afaf El Gohary, Head of the Health Sector at Misr El Kheir Foundation, Abdel Aziz Sorour, Director of the Rehabilitation Center for People with Special Needs in Tor Sinai, representing the Ministry of Social Solidarity. In his speech, Mohamed Abdel-Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of the Misr El-Khair Foundation, confirmed that the launch of the "Misr El-Khair" Foundation for medical convoys in South Sinai coincides with the glorious celebrations of the October 1973 war, in light of the great support and great attention of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, to people of determination. He pointed out that the distribution of prosthetic devices included two phases, as the first phase included: a medical convoy to detect and determine the needs of people with mobility and hearing disabilities, while the second phase included the delivery of prosthetic devices and hearing aids, the installation of prosthetic limbs and the delivery of wheelchairs. The deputy managing director of the "Misr El Kheir" Foundation explained that the organization of medical convoys comes in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and under the leadership of the forces east of the Canal to combat terrorism, explaining that the goal of the convoys is to help people with special needs in the governorate of South Sinai in the cities (Nuweiba - Taba - Dahab). Abdel Rahman indicated that the medical convoys for South Sinai Governorate included signing a medical examination for the beneficiaries of people of determination and distributing prosthetic devices to them after taking all the necessary measurements. He pointed out that the Directorate of Social Solidarity in South Sinai Governorate is participating in the Misr El Kheir Foundation in launching convoys for people with special needs as part of the medical convoy program implemented by the Foundation. In her speech, Dr. Enas Samir, Deputy Governor of South Sinai, thanked the political leadership for its keen interest in people of determination and the "Misr El Kheir" Foundation for its substantial efforts in the governorate. She expressed her happiness that the celebration coincided with the celebrations of the victory of the Glorious October War. Dr. Afaf El Gohary, Head of the Health Sector at Misr El Kheir Foundation, said that 124 stethoscopes were delivered and operated, 12 electric wheelchairs and one standard wheelchair were delivered and operated, as well as the installation and rehabilitation of 8 prosthetic limbs, with 13 white sticks for the blind, In addition to the delivery of 2 talking laptops, a total of 160 beneficiaries. The head of the health sector at the "Misr El Khair" Foundation added that the medical services provided by the "Misr El Khair" Foundation are distinguished by the fact that they are manufactured specifically for the beneficiaries after taking the appropriate sizes for them and relying on the best materials to provide the best service that qualifies the beneficiaries to integrate into society naturally and qualifies them to turn them into productive people. And active in the community. Al-Jawhari pointed out that the medical services provided by the Misr El-Khair Foundation varied in the convoy, the first stage, to several services, including: "a nose and ear detection service for people with hearing disabilities, an audiometer service by technicians specialized in the latest audiometry devices, and a mold making service. They are hearing aids, detection services for people with mobility disabilities, and measurements of prosthetic limbs for cases with motor disabilities, in addition to conducting physical and psychological rehabilitation sessions for those who are eligible before handing over the prosthetic limbs to ensure that they know the proper use.
