Economic Empowerment Products “Apis and Clem Inn” to support debtors from Misr El Kheir witnessed a great turnout at the end of our Heritage exhibition.
19 October 2021The pavilion of economic empowerment products "Apis and Claim Inn," supported by the debtor's sector at the Misr El Kheir Foundation, witnessed a great turnout from the audience of the Heritage Handicrafts Exhibition which concluded yesterday evening. Al-Khair has opportunities to work within its handmade carpet factories in Abis, Alexandria, and handmade kilim factories in Sfih, Giza Governorate. Soheir Awad, Director of the Al-Gharmin Program, expressed her happiness to participate for the second time in the Our Heritage exhibition due to its great success and the interest of the political leadership. It represents a promising future for families producing handicrafts in all parts of Egypt. Awad added that the Foundation participated in this exhibition, which witnessed great popularity in its last session from 9 to 15 October. A large turnout of visitors and those interested in handicraft and heritage products, pointing out that the sector participated in the products of Apis factories, which produce various designs of handmade carpets that match international brands. In addition to the kilim, which has now become a distinct brand known as kilim in, the Sinai shilling, and the Siwi salt, which are the products that the institution has been present in the Egyptian market for years, and even compete with its counterparts abroad, as it is exported to several Arab and foreign countries. Awad added, in statements at the end of the exhibition, that the Foundation was keen to participate in our heritage, being the most significant regional exhibition of craftsmen and specialized artists, as it represented a golden opportunity to display and market products.
